One of the most difficult parts of doing marketing
research is creating good questionnaires. Review the information on
questionnaire design on pages 145–146 of your text to learn how to
develop effective market research surveys.
Scenario: Luigi, owner of
Luigi’s Pizzeria, would like to serve his customers better. He would
like to get a better idea of who his customers are, what they like or do
not like about Luigi’s Pizzeria, and how he can improve the product and
service. Your job as a marketing research consultant is to help Luigi
understand his customers by conducting market research.
There are many free online survey software &
questionnaire tools that are very easy to use. The most popular are
Survey Monkey© and Zoomerang©. Using any of these free tools on the
internet, create a ten question market research survey for Luigi’s
Pizza.
Then, develop your discussion posting to your classmates
by discussing your experience using these tools and describe why each
question will help Luigi understand his customers better. Paste the
link to your survey in your Discussion response.
